About Lynda

You are invited to join Lynda. Beginners welcome – even if you’ve never meditated before feel free to come along.

Hello. My name is Lynda Perry and I am from Herne Bay Kent. I am a nurse who is looking to help others in an alternative way. I first became interested in mediation many years ago after going through a stressful time in my life. I found meditation beneficial in lowering my stress levels and this made it easier for me to continue with my everyday life. As life became less stressful, and I became busier and more distracted, my meditation practice suffered.

Recently I had felt there was something missing in my life and I focused on starting my meditation practice again. This I did in my home by myself but found it hard to focus and felt all at sea with it. I found several meditation sites on line and followed these for a while, then I came across the ‘Skillful Mind’ site and Peter Radcliffe. I spoke with Peter on the telephone and everything just seemed right for me.

I decided to become a meditation leader with ‘Skillful Mind’ as I know the personal benefits of meditation practice, and living as we do in such a stress filled world, I hope to help others find the calmness and peace of mind that it has brought to me, thereby encouraging others to live more mindfully, and peacefully in fulfilling their goals in life.
