The Skillful Mind team want you to be totally satisfied with our service as we would love to take you on a complete journey of personal growth to find inner peace and success in your life. To assist in our mutual understanding we have created a few policies we would like you to be familiar with at time of booking. None of these policies are intended to contradict or contravene the Australian Consumer Law. Policies are subject to change without notice.

Privacy

All your personal information will remain private and confidential and will not be shared to any third party without the express permission of the owner.

How We Keep Your Information Secure

The staff of Skillful Mind protect Personal Information against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification with security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the Personal Information. We use various methods to safeguard Personal Information. They include:

– physical measures: no personal information is kept in hard copy and any notes are disposed of securely.

– technical tools: passwords and encryption, using generally industry best practices.

Online security is also a priority. . Firewalls are utilized to protect our servers and network from unauthorized users accessing and tampering with files and other information that we store. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect your credit card information online. Upon entering the checkout page your computer will begin communicating with our server in secure mode. You will be able to tell that you are in secure mode because the “http” in the web address on your browser will change to “https”.

Meditation Leaders Program

a) Skillful Mind Leader Program

When joining this program and choosing the monthly payment option for either the Learning and Certification, Resources or Both – you are committing to a 15 month Payment Plan with the option to upgrade to Lifetime payment in one lump sum with a 50% discount applied for each month that is paid in full.

A trail period exists for up to 30 days from the date of purchase for the leader program. Once the trail period is over the payment plan is binding and must be paid in full.

*If you complete your assessment and receive your SkillfulMIND Meditation Leader Certification before this 30 day trial period is up, this will cancel out the trial period.

b) Short Courses

Payment is required in full prior to access to your purchased course.

Access will be available for life.

Retreat Bookings

Reservations are required and subject to availability

Cancellation/Change Policy – Retreats in Australia

Please let us know at your earliest opportunity the need to change or cancel your booking. We understand that sometimes life gets in the way of our best intentions, and we want to do our best to accomodate you subject to the following:

-$100 non-refundable deposit payable at time of booking, or full payment if booking within 30 days of retreat

-Final payment due 30 days prior to retreat

Late payment charges for bookings not paid by due date apply to cover the cost of administration and will be charged at 10% of outstanding balance.

-Changes/Transfers of retreat incur $50 fee

-Cancellations prior to 30 days – $100 fee

-Cancellations within 30 days – 50% of full retreat cost

-Cancellations within 10 days – no refund.

-All cancellation notices and refund requests shall be made in writing via email to bookings@skillfulmind.com.au

-Refunds are not available for non attendance

Part payments can be made via bank transfer in the lead up to retreat, with final balance due 30 days prior and with late fees applying as above.

Travel insurance is available online from many sources and will cover cancellation costs if the reasons meet the conditions of the policy such as medical.

Risk warning

The activities, which may include yoga and other forms of exercise, meditation and neuro linguistic programming techniques within our workshops and retreats, involve a risk to participants.
Risk is increased if a participant is suffering pre-existing psychological injury such as anxiety, stress, trauma, depression or has a pre-existing physical injury. There is a possibility of aggravating such pre-existing injuries. If you have a pre-existing condition, we highly recommend you contact your doctor or medical specialist prior to booking.

All participants who engage in Skillful Mind/Adelaide NLP activities do so at their own risk and we recommend travel insurance.

If we need to cancel a Retreat:

If the occasion arises that we need to cancel a retreat due to lack of numbers or other unforeseen circumstances, we will try to find another suitable retreat and date, or you will be refunded in full.

Retreat Inclusions:

Each retreat will specify inclusions in the package and these will be confirmed in an email sent at time of booking. Be sure to note meal and linen inclusions. A daily itinerary of learnings and activities will also be included on the website and we encourage you to participate in all to take full advantage of the retreat.

Accommodation

We use a variety of accommodation. Check our website for details of accommodation for your retreat prior to booking and feel free to chat with us about share arrangements and your specific requirements.

Meals

An important part of our philosophy to leading a balanced life is to eat nutritious, delicious food. All of our retreats include options for vegetarian meals and other dietary requests such as vegan, gluten-free etc can be accommodated. Please ensure to advise us of any allergies.
