Hello, my name is Kate. I live in Albany, Western Australia and am a mother to 2 energetic, full of life children, and partner to the man of my dreams. Working in the health and wellness industry for the past 12 years, I have a passion for physical, mental and spiritual health. Completing a Diploma of Remedial Massage, Yoga Teacher Training, Fitness Instructing Certificate, and Level 3 in Reiki Healing, I am interested in all aspects of healing, and improving wellbeing on all levels. Meditation is such a powerful tool in achieving greater health, bringing about more peace, and a calmer mind to live a happier life.
As a remedial massage therapist for the past 8 years, I see on a daily basis how stress effects the body, by tightening muscles, creating ‘knots’, headaches, anxiety and tension, especially in the neck and lower back. My aim is to help others find more inner peace, and reduce tension not only in the physical body, but also in the mind.
Meditation classes are warm and welcoming sessions, for people to come together, to learn and to experience the many styles of meditation through guided meditations and semi guided meditation. Staying motivated is key to achieving a sustainable practice, and I hope to inspire and guide others towards a calmer, more joyous life, through sharing meditation teachings from traditions such as Yoga, Tibetan Buddhism, Hawaiian traditions, and Mindfulness techniques.
Classes are for anyone, regardless of religious belief, meditation experience or fitness level.
